Joyous, raucous, amusing, diverting, but also melodious and haunting...his music is still celebrated worldwide by lovers and non-lovers of the classical genre alike. Overwhelming, emotional, sublime. Born in Salzburg, Austria, in 1756, Mozart was writing melodies at the age of 6 and symphonies by the age of 12. Aside from keyboard, he could play music at first sight on the piano, harpsichord, clavichord and organ as well as play the violin.
